PRESENTATION OF THE STIPENDIUM PROJECT AT THE UAES CONGRESS

On October 28, 2021, the STIPENDIUM project team took part in the Congress of the Ukrainian Association of European Studies (UAES), dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Jean Monnet Program in Ukraine. Except of the representatives of national HEIs-implementers of Jean Monnet projects there were present and delivered presentations Giorgios Dimitrakopoulos, former MEP, former Vice-President of the European Parliament, Antonio Fontelles de Lima, Jean Monnet Project Officer, European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), Serhiy Shkabko, State Expert of European Integration Expert Group of the European Integration, Budget and Policy Alignment, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Svitlana Shytikova and Petro Krainik, National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.

The coordinator of the project “STATE-INTERNATIONAL-PUBLIC: EUROPEAN VALUES AND NORMS DETERMINING INTERDISCIPLINARY UNIVERSITY MODULE (STIPENDIUM)Tetiana Kostiuk made a report in which she presented a card of the project having accented its main purpose and objectives, raised a number of issues for discussion with colleagues about the peculiarities of project implementation in condition of the COVID-19 pandemic and answered the colleagues’ questions.

The Congress took place two days, on October 28 and 29, and was attended by about 25 people involved in shaping the policy of Jean Monnet projects under the Erasmus + program, are directly implementing these projects in Ukraine, as well as representatives of State bodies of Ukraine. As part of the second day of the Congress, the 2nd Young Scholar Research Academy was held.

 Within the framework of the Congress, the participants are also going to take part in the collective monograph “European Studies in the World: lessons for Ukraine”, the publication of which is scheduled for early 2022.
