Summary of Tetiana’s Kostiuk course completion

Within 10 weeks PhD students were involved in the implementation of the practical phase of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “State-international-public: European values and norms determining interdisciplinary university module (STIPENDIUM)” (№ 611217-EPP-1-2019-1-UAEPPJMO-MODULE).

In particular, they attended the project coordinator Tetiana Kostiuk author’s course “Global Society, National States and Identity”, designed for 40 hours of theoretical and practical lessons. This course provided deep theoretical and practical knowledge and a holistic view of the current globalization period nature, the development of integration processes in Europe, the system of functioning of EU political, legal and economic bodies, the foreign policy strategy of Ukraine development in the light of globalization and European integration. Another block of lecture and applied classes was devoted to the peculiarities of national systems of public administration functioning in the era of borders cancellation, the survival of states-nations on conditions of active transnational processes and correlation of the concepts of “civic-social”, “public-state”, “state-international” with emphasis on the role of the state in the development of society, the impact of the society into prosperity of the state and the role of the international environment in the process of public policy making.

15 PhD students got nominee for the award due to their active position and participation. They were granted Certificates of participants of the first part of the Erasmus+ project “State-international-public: European values and norms determining interdisciplinary university module (STIPENDIUM)” implementation.
